From the recording EP "Le Salon Vert" (mp3 version)
The bonus track, “Do It With Love,” features a live performance by BAAST!, a Hamburg-based choir of more than 20 singers.
Originally released on my 2019 album “HELIODOR,” the song made such an impression on the choir and its director, Ramón Lazzeroni, that he created a choral arrangement that BAAST! has performed regularly ever since.
This version was recorded in the studio in a single take. For this recording alone, I stepped up to the microphone to join the choir on lead vocals — a rare occasion on which I became part of the ensemble myself.

V1
When you perceive
When you explore
When you take course
When you rise up
When you achieve
When you pass on
Remember to do it with love
When you accept
When you reply
When you point out
When you define
When you reach out
When you desire
Give it your love
CH1
We’re all straining in the water
Pulling even stronger for company
We’re all heading for the wide blue yonder
It’s them, it’s us, it’s you and me
V2
When you reach out
When you take hold
When you speak up
When you shine on
When you look back
When you expect
Do it with love
Love’s all we got
Why’d you despair
Why’d you give up
Why’d you deny
Why’d you ask why
And if you do
Remember to
Remember love
And it will do
CH2
We’re all straining in the water
Pulling even stronger for company
We’re all heading for the wide blue yonder
It’s them, it’s us, it’s you and me
It’s them, it’s us, it’s you and me
Mid8
Love’s a dandelion seed
It carries across all boundaries
Give it on, give to yourself
Gotta do it now
V3
Work a little harder
Let’s try and listen better
Before we speak
And be a little smarter
Keep our word and share a beat
CH
We’re all straining in the water
Pulling even stronger for company
We’re all heading for the wide blue yonder
It’s them, it’s us, it’s you and me
We’re all straining in the water
Pulling even stronger for company
We’re all heading for the wide blue yonder
It’s them, it’s us, it’s you and me
It’s them, it’s us, it’s you and me
It’s them, it’s us, it’s you and me
