From the recording EP "Le Salon Vert" (mp3 version)
The opening track, “Island,” is a message to the younger generation: to approach life as one great adventure, pursue their dreams, and see themselves as the creators of their own personal masterpiece.
In a world where technology and social media shape so much of our everyday lives, drawing us into a constant cycle of comparison and passive consumption, this shift in perspective felt like something I simply had to express.
We are all searching for love, identity, and a sense of belonging. We all search for the meaning of life, only to discover much later that fulfillment has less to do with finding the meaning of life than with discovering meaning in it.
Being curious and open to the world, finding friends across the globe, giving and receiving love, making peace, and recognizing the abundance of the heart as our greatest wealth — these are the ideas at the heart of “Island.”

Everyone‘s raised on an island
A social atoll
Brought up by families and teachers
And some others more
And soon we mature setting sails
To the vastness of our dreams
Junior discoverers,
I know what it means
And we’re sailing
Sailing far for love
And we’re sailing
Sailing far for love
Mapping out ideas beginning
With first random spots
Looking for direction
Connecting the dots
Of networks in star charts,
Tree roots, world maps or anything else
We‘re looking for evidence
And something of sense
And we’re sailing
Sailing far for love
And we’re sailing
Sailing far for love
I hope you’ll make friends
I hope you’ll make love
I hope you’ll send words of kindness
And peace
On the wings of white doves
I‘m wishing wealth for you
As abundance of your heart
Travel through life
And make it your art
Your art
Your art
